Hoshino Architects
Project:
Hiroaki Hoshino is a world-class architect educated in Tokyo and London, who has worked extensively in Europe, the Middle East, and Japan as a project director for Michael Hopkins’ studio. Currently based in Tokyo as the representative for Hoshino Architects and Hopkins Architects Japan office, Hoshino continues his work on large-scale projects in cities across Japan and the rest of the world.
Execution:
&Form worked on the concept, design, and programming of the studio’s new website, in addition to the text and photo direction. An abstracted, minimal map with locations of past and current projects was incorporated, as well as world clocks, to bring focus to his global practice. Strong and large images were used, and pre-existing logo font was incorporated for consistency. Attention was placed on details such as color coding projects according to studio (black for Hoshino, blue for Hopkins).
