“METoA Ginza” is a multi-functional event space that opened in 2016 at the cross-cultural intersection of one of Tokyo’s most famous and busiest neighborhoods. With its 150th anniversary approaching in 2020, Mitsubishi aims to present to the public the scope and the depth of Mitsubishi Electric’s wide-ranging technology through the perspective of artists.
As the art director, &Form managed the artistic and creative direction of METoA from the ground up, including concept, name, logo, printed matter, website, and all other corporate and visual identity elements.
&Form managed the team that curated the inaugural exhibition, which consisted of flower arrangements by 3 noted artisans and projections by 3 video artists. The works utilized the readily available technology to shed light on Mitsubishi Electric’s potential and place in the future.
