Swiss Visions – A New Generation of Architectural Expression
We designed the flyer, booklet cover, and two posters for the exhibition “Swiss Vision – New Generation Expression” featuring four promising architects leading the future of Swiss architecture, held at AXIS Gallery in Tokyo.

We used a composition combining centrally aligned title text with symmetrical balance and asymmetric placement of images. The colors deliberately induce halation, aiming to subvert the typical Swiss style. This architectural exhibition differs from traditional ones where models are lined up; instead, it utilizes new means of expression involving visuals. Hence, we added movement to the placement of images of the four artists, evoking the appearance of images from projectors.

We produced four different sizes: B1, B2 posters, flyer, and booklet cover. Rather than simply adjusting the layout proportions, we designed four different colors ensuring that the total values of cyan, magenta, and yellow used were the same. This allowed us to highlight each piece of work for each pair of Swiss architects, each with their own identity, using four colors to enhance the impression of each work. The series of motion graphics provided a three-dimensional representation of typography at the architectural exhibition.
