Exhibition Catalog.
For the catalogue, different printing techniques and paper stock were merged with unconventional methods to convey the timelessness of the artworks in juxtaposition to the temporality of the dialogue surrounding them, in addition to the various concepts of white that exist between the five artists, and also between Korea, Japan, and elsewhere. The advertisement and the invitation card were made to elicit a similar effect, through an understanding of the provided material. The resulting designs come together to reinforce the Korean artists’ and Tokyo Gallery’s lasting effects on the art world.
