WOW is engaged in a wide range of activities centered on space design and installation focused on video related-works. Fine strokes of the ‘W’ are designed to maintain the minimum thickness according to its application. Based on its approach to pioneering new genres, a dynamic identity that constantly changes along with various media was selected, rather than a fixed logo following the basic principle of CI/VI design. As they also have many clients overseas for their ongoing VI and exhibition graphics, this assignment was carried out to incorporate the contemporary nature of Japan and a three dimensional product-like quality that will be embedded in people’s minds through a visual and tactile experience (2012-).

WOW Special Portfolio
A portfolio printed in a limited number as a promotional tool for a celebrated gallery in New York.
In order to express the presence of the exhibits and to differentiate them from those of other participating artists, a large-size format, 594 mm x 420 mm was adopted. A sense of tension was intended in the overall design, through the use of large bold letters, while intentionally creating contrast between pages with large margins and those with hardly any.

WOW New Year Card 2020
A new design element was incorporated in the 2020 new year card, in order to reflect the commitment to constant change while seeking the growth of WOW, which expands its scope of activities involving multifaceted means of expression, not only through motion graphics, but also space design.
Designing two versions of the initial letter of each word; Happy New Year, a transitional process in which one letter links to the other was rendered by visual programming. Using different processes such as offset and silkscreen printing, and embossing, the skillful artisans manually put together the cards one by one. Non-contrived beauty was sought by combining processes involving designing, visual programming and printing.
